Spinal Cord Stimulator

Spinal Cord Stimulators use Neurostimulation to interrupt pain impulses before they reach the brain. This helps patients manage chronic pain and drastically improves their quality of life. Spinal Cord Stimulators are often used in patients suffering from Failed Back Surgery Syndrome (FBSS) or any patient who is experiencing chronic pain and not responding well to other treatment options. Using a minimally-invasive procedure, Spinal Cord Stimulator patients can try the device in normal, daily settings before deciding if it’s right for them.

  • FDA Approved

FDA approved for pain management and chronic pain sufferers without the use of addictive narcotics.

  • Minimally-Invasive

Done as an outpatient procedure, patients recover faster and with less pain than traditional spine procedures.

  • Non-Narcotic / Non Addictive

If you think a Spinal Cord Stimulator might be right for you, the first step is the trial. This trial allows you to experience the stimulator first hand, during your daily routine, to see if it brings you relief.

The trial usually lasts 3-7 days and lets you decide if moving forward with a long term implant is the right choice to manage your pain. The trial procedure generally takes 1-2 hours and is done at our brand new ASC as an outpatient procedure.

You leave with your new Stimulator and iPod Touch to control your pain day or night with the touch of your finger. At the end of the trial, if you experience relief, you can choose to move forward with the long term stimulator.
